Our Goals

 Big Goals

Our aim is to impact the lives of coaches and athletes for the Kingdom of God by using an out-of-the-box approach to attract and influence the world through healthy competition.

Community Sports

A vehicle to connect with athletes early before high school, while participating in a sports program
that includes traditional and non traditional competitive sports.

Summer Youth Academy

Student-Athlete Life Skills training with an aim to develop well-rounded youth who understand and live-out the Biblical formula for SUCCESS.

Spirit-Led Coaching

This is an opportunity to truly

minister to and through the COACH! Its a journey of understanding

with clarity the transformational purpose of the coach.

DeKalb STEM Sports

We want to make a paradigm shift in DeKalb County by introducing a new standard. Using Basketball, Football, Golf, Soccer, Volleyball and other traditional sports in real-life application to drive STEM-based, hands-on learning. Yes, a new type of FCA Huddle and even Camps!

In fact, we want to host our very own STEM competitions in an effort to provide much-needed structure to those who are just not looking to compete in a world that thrives on competition. Science, technology, engineering, and math, are all God's resources. FCA DeKalb -STEM Sports allows us to bridge the gaps between traditional sports, STEM education and Christian Discipleship. What a wonderful way to share the  transformational power of Jesus Christ to a new kind of athlete.

STEM competitions allow students to think critically and work autonomously as well as work together in teams, strengthening collaborative and social skills.  All participants can expect real-world biblical problem solving, challenges requiring hands-on involvement, and out-of-the-box thinking!

Community Sports

Team youth sports that deliver the fundamentals of the game while providing a spiritual foundation. We develop and track our

athletes growth in 5 areas most critical to success on and off the field.

  1. Spiritual Development
  2. Academic Performance
  3. Athletic Performance
  4. Goal Setting
  5. Goal Achievement

Summer
Youth Academy

The Life Skills are

critically important to a Student-Athlete's development. The life choices outside of the classroom and playing field either enhance or derail their development.

Topics discussed are:

  • Personal Branding
  • Social Media 101
  • Embrace Diversity
  • Fatherhood

Sprit-Led Coaching

These seminars will help

coaches create a plan to fulfill the purpose. Along the way, they will make important discoveries that will increase their capacity to effectively coach the

21st century athlete.

Celebration
of Success

Each year ends with a

“Celebration of Success”

Banquet to acknowledge

individual success, progress is encouraged, and new goals are envisioned.

Also a great fundraiser.

Team and Individual Football Camps

Team Football Camp

Both day and overnight team Football Camps include position-specific training

while experiencing the fellowship of unique bonding through the

common interest of Football. Set in a back yard family reunion environment, fosters

opportunities to grow and develop a fully devoted following of Jesus.

Individual Player Football Camp

Every camper is assigned a position group where former NFL and College Players will give a 30 minute presentation on “how to play the position”, and what instruction will be provided during the camp. Campers also receive a “Position Tip Sheet”, which contains helpful hints on playing the position. After which campers get an opportunity to apply what was learned in the camp session on the field. FCA Staff  connects the position skills learned to the biblical teaches of Jesus Christ.
